AKA Brandon Menjivar

I am a multimedia artist with a deep passion for graphic design, art, and visual storytelling. Creativity has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I turned my passion into a profession straight out of high school. Over the years, I have curated and showcased my artwork at events while building a career that seamlessly blends artistry with strategy, transforming concepts into compelling visual identities.

I began my journey by working on small branding projects for local businesses, refining my skills in logo creation, typography, and brand aesthetics. As my expertise grew, so did my projects, evolving into larger-scale collaborations that allowed me to push creative boundaries. At my core, I am a traditional artist, deeply connected to painting and digital artwork. In 2022 and beyond, I cultivated a dedicated following around my art, sharing pieces that merge emotion, composition, and detail. This remains one of my greatest passions.

 

My expertise spans promotional design, clothing design, and product design, enabling me to craft visuals that not only enhance brand identity but also create immersive experiences. As both an artist and a designer, I approach projects from multiple perspectives, seeing opportunities for innovation where others may not. Every piece I create is driven by a love for storytelling, composition, and intentionality—whether it’s branding, illustration, or an interactive visual experience.

Beyond design and art, I have a strong passion for video editing, which allows me to add motion and narrative depth to my creative work. Based in California, I am constantly evolving, exploring new techniques, and pushing creative boundaries to bring ideas to life in the most impactful way possible.

PROJECTS

Hidden Hills Club x Malibu Surfboards – Sprinter Van Wrap Design

For this project, I collaborated with the Hidden Hills Club team to design a striking new look for their branded sprinter van. The challenge was to seamlessly integrate the essence of Hidden Hills Club with the iconic Malibu Surfboards branding, creating a cohesive yet eye-catching design.

The final wrap features a tropical aesthetic with palm trees, deep green tones, and bold typography, reinforcing the luxurious and adventurous spirit of both brands. The "Malibu" neon-style logo adds a vibrant, surf-inspired touch, while the Hidden Hills branding remains strong and unmistakable. Strategic elements, including QR codes and call-to-action messaging like "Join the Club," enhance engagement and brand visibility.

This project was a balance of brand cohesion, visual storytelling, and functional design, ensuring the sprinter van stands out both on the road and at exclusive events.

Hidden Hills Club - Pickleball Set

For the Hidden Hills Club Pickleball Set, I played a key role in both product design and promotional materials, ensuring the set stayed true to the brand’s identity. I worked on the paddle designs, refining the colors and branding elements to match the aesthetic of Hidden Hills Club. Beyond the product itself, I created promotional banners for the Hidden Hills website, highlighting key product features in a way that felt premium and engaging.

To support the launch, I also crafted ad copy and designed social media graphics that emphasized the quality and style of the set. The goal was to make the Hidden Hills Club lifestyle extend beyond fashion into high-end recreational gear, blending sport and luxury seamlessly.

Hidden Hills Club - Activewear Sculpt Sets

I was responsible for designing the Activewear Sculpt Sets for Hidden Hills Club, creating a cohesive, performance-driven collection that embodies both luxury and functionality. The collection consists of six meticulously designed pieces:

  • Women’s Skirt

  • Women’s Leggings

  • Women’s Y-Back Top

  • Women’s Racerback Top

  • Women’s V-Scoop Top

  • Women’s Biker Shorts

Beyond the product design, I also developed multiple ad creatives for social media, ensuring that the marketing visuals aligned seamlessly with the brand’s elevated aesthetic. Every campaign asset was crafted to highlight the premium quality, sculpting fit, and sleek elegance of the collection, reinforcing Hidden Hills Club’s reputation for high-end activewear.

ATM Danny – Lift Off Album Artwork & Promotional Design

For ATM Danny’s Lift Off album, I was responsible for creating the album cover, tracklist design, and a flyer for the listening party. The concept behind the artwork was to illustrate ATM Danny launching into space while defeating monstrous enemies, symbolizing his rise and dominance in the music industry. The illustration captures an intense, action-packed moment with dynamic colors, flames, and cosmic elements to emphasize the theme of ascension and power.

The tracklist design follows the same space-themed aesthetic, ensuring consistency across all promotional materials. This design was created for both digital use and a vinyl release, maintaining a bold and immersive visual identity.

The flyer was designed for both print and social media, providing key details about the listening party while incorporating elements from the album cover. Sponsor logos and event details were seamlessly integrated, making it an engaging and effective promotional tool.

A major highlight of this project was the album cover’s feature on a Times Square billboard, bringing high visibility to the release. This project blended illustration, branding, and promotional design to create a cohesive and impactful visual campaign for Lift Off.

Liquid Death x Menji – Murder Tuesday Collab

For my feature as a guest artist speaker on Murder Tuesday, Liquid Death invited me to share my story and creative journey. To promote the event, I designed a unique collaboration piece incorporating their Mango Chainsaw drink with my signature artistic style.

I blended illustration with photography, integrating my hand-drawn, fluid-like artwork seamlessly around and over the can. The bold, energetic splashes of orange and yellow evoke the mango flavor, while the playful yet intense vibe reflects both my style and Liquid Death’s edgy branding.

This artwork was used for promotional materials, amplifying the event’s reach and bringing my art into Liquid Death’s universe in a way that feels both immersive and organic.

Hidden Hills Club - Kobe Mamba Tee

This special edition Kobe Mamba Tee was designed for Hidden Hills Club to honor Kobe Bryant Day (August 24th), also known as Mamba Day. The design embodies Kobe’s legendary legacy, incorporating bold typography, a powerful grayscale portrait of Kobe holding the championship trophy, and the signature "Mamba Forever" tribute.

The front of the tee features a subtle yet impactful design with the Hidden Hills Club logo on the left chest and Kobe’s iconic numbers, 8 & 24, in gold on the bottom right. The back of the shirt showcases a large, detailed illustration of Kobe, complemented by bold purple and gold text—colors synonymous with his Lakers career.

I carefully selected a pigment-dyed vintage black tee to enhance the overall retro, worn-in aesthetic, making it feel timeless and commemorative. The design also includes a subtle snake texture as a nod to Kobe’s "Black Mamba" persona.

XTINCT Magazine -  Top Cars of 2024 Posters

For XTINCT Magazine’s Top 5 Cars of 2024, I was tasked with designing three posters for the Toyota Supra, Toyota Tacoma, and BMW M2—each selected as part of their top-rated lineup. My goal was to seamlessly integrate XTINCT’s bold, high-energy aesthetic while ensuring each vehicle remained the focal point.

 

The designs feature a dark, moody backdrop with gothic-inspired typography, creating a raw and aggressive feel that aligns with XTINCT’s brand identity. Each poster highlights key performance specs, while the composition and effects—such as motion blur, rugged textures, and smoke—enhance the vehicle’s personality, whether it’s the track-ready Supra, the rugged Tacoma, or the high-performance M2.

 

This project was all about striking a balance between branding and car culture, making sure the visuals not only represent XTINCT but also resonate with automotive enthusiasts.

ATM Danny - Hoodie Merch Collection

For ATM Danny's hoodie merch collection, I designed eight different hoodie concepts, each featuring unique variations of the "ATM" (All That Matters) branding. The designs incorporate playful star motifs, dynamic typography, and a mix of bold and minimalistic aesthetics.

Each hoodie was carefully crafted to align with ATM Danny’s artistic vision, using a diverse color palette and layout styles to provide variety while maintaining a cohesive brand identity. Some designs emphasize a vibrant, cartoon-like approach with colorful elements, while others lean towards a sleek, monochromatic look with intricate detailing.

While only four were chosen, I felt it was important to provide a wide variety of options to explore different creative directions and ensure the final selections resonated with the brand’s identity. This approach allowed for a more refined and intentional final lineup while showcasing the full potential of the design concept.

Inferno Brew Coffee Co. - Branding and Logo Design

Inferno Brew Coffee Co. is a bold and innovative brand designed for coffee enthusiasts who crave strength and depth in every sip. The branding and logo design were crafted to embody the essence of a robust coffee experience, appealing to those who appreciate a powerful brew with a unique twist.

The logo features a dynamic flame motif, symbolizing the intense and fiery nature of the coffee. This imagery is paired with strong, clean typography that conveys confidence and quality. The overall design is sleek yet impactful, reflecting the brand's commitment to delivering a coffee that stands out in both flavor and presentation.

Inferno Brew Coffee Co. targets a diverse audience, from adventurous coffee lovers looking to explore new flavors to fitness enthusiasts and professionals who value the cognitive and energy-boosting properties of mushroom-infused coffee. The branding speaks to those who are not afraid to embrace boldness and innovation in their daily rituals.

This project was a perfect blend of creativity and strategy, resulting in a brand identity that not only stands out on the shelf but also resonates deeply with its target audience. The design captures the essence of strength, quality, and a touch of adventure, making Inferno Brew Coffee Co. a memorable and compelling choice for coffee drinkers everywhere.

BIZBOX - Branding, Logo, and Packaging Design

BIZBOX is a dynamic and inspiring monthly subscription service I had the opportunity to design, aimed at empowering entrepreneurs and creative thinkers. The brand’s mission is to provide tools and resources that help turn ideas into success, and my goal was to reflect this through the logo, packaging, and overall visual identity.
 

The logo I created for BIZBOX is modern and versatile, featuring clean, bold typography that conveys professionalism and innovation. The design is intentionally minimalistic to ensure it stands out across various applications, from the physical box to digital platforms.
 

For the packaging, I designed a sleek, functional box that not only looks premium but also serves as a practical tool for users. Each month, subscribers receive a carefully curated selection of items meant to inspire and guide them on their entrepreneurial journey. I took the product photo to highlight both the physical box and its contents, showcasing the clean design and thoughtful arrangement of items that emphasize the brand’s commitment to quality and usability.
 

This project was a blend of creativity and practicality, allowing me to create a brand identity that resonates with ambitious individuals ready to bring their ideas to life. BIZBOX is more than just a subscription—it’s a monthly dose of inspiration and a catalyst for success. I’m proud to have played a role in bringing its vision to life through design.

Nature Balance - T-Shirt Collection

Nature Balance is a brand dedicated to promoting wellness and harmony with the natural world, and I had the privilege of designing their logo and three unique t-shirt designs. The goal was to reflect the brand’s mission of balance, sustainability, and connection to nature through thoughtful and cohesive design.

 

For the logo, I crafted a clean and minimalist design featuring a sharp mountain silhouette, symbolizing strength, stability, and the beauty of the natural world. The modern typography complements the mountain motif, creating a versatile and impactful identity that resonates with the brand’s values.

 

The three t-shirt designs each carry a unique yet consistent aesthetic, incorporating nature-inspired elements and the brand’s signature logo. The designs are intentionally understated yet meaningful, making them stylish and aligned with Nature Balance’s commitment to sustainability.

 

This project was a deeply rewarding experience, allowing me to blend my passion for design with my appreciation for nature and sustainability. The result is a collection of t-shirts and a logo that not only look great but also inspire others to live in harmony with the environment. I’m proud to have helped bring Nature Balance’s vision to life through thoughtful and intentional design.

The Clutch Kickback - Illustration and Design for Welcoming Banner (Spring Festival)

The Clutch Kickback was an exciting drifting event held in Japan, and I had the honor of creating the illustration and design for the welcoming banner used at the event and throughout Tokyo to promote it. The goal was to capture the high-energy, adrenaline-pumping vibe of drifting while celebrating the spirit of the Spring Festival.

For the banner, I designed a vibrant and dynamic illustration that combined elements of Japanese culture with the raw intensity of drifting. The artwork features sleek, stylized cars mid-drift, surrounded by cherry blossoms and traditional festival motifs, creating a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. The bold typography and striking color palette ensured the banner stood out in busy urban environments, drawing attention to the event.

The banner was not only used at the event itself but also displayed across Tokyo to generate excitement and attract attendees. It was a thrilling project that allowed me to merge my love for illustration with the fast-paced world of motorsports, resulting in a design that perfectly encapsulated the energy and cultural fusion of The Clutch Kickback.
